The Laird Report Episode 11 Covid Vaccine injury shows public health messaging is dead

  1. I used to wonder why so many professional football players are unvaccinated. Obviously, they and their clubs are better informed of the risks than we are.

It was always a numbers game for the Government. Once 90% are vaccinated, then the game is up for Covid-19 and it will probably mutate peter-out and 90% was reached ages ago.

As far as judge-led Inquiries are concerned, best of luck with that, especially here in Scotland. The UK are pretty good at independent inquiries and the present Grenfell Inquiry is an example, but forget about that up here. We're now as bent as a 9-bob note.

I'm personally relaxed and whether someone wants to take the vaccine or not, it's their personal choice for me and I wouldn't even ask. But this is a point of view that I was never even aware of. I would probably still take the vaccine, but I know my wife probably wouldn't and I know of a few others who wouldn't either.

  2. There's another equally valid way of looking at this: Professor John Bell developed the Oxford Astra-Zeneca vaccine with his team at Oxford University. I remember at the start of the pandemic he said that we were smarter than the virus and would defeat it in the end.

He went on a year later to complain that Marcon and Merkel's public announcement that his vaccine (which is the only not for profit vaccine) was unproven in the over 50's and their advice was not to take it. Bell said that that decision potentially cost a few hundred thousand lives.

On last thing - those in intensive care in our hospitals are usually unvaccinated. The vaccinated aren't immune, but their symptoms can be managed at home now.

  3. I remember when I was waiting in the queue for the vaccine, if anyone advised me not to take it I would have chased them and that was the public's mind-set at that time. No-one cared too much about risk, which they perceived to be small anyway. I wonder what the situation is in African countries which have had hardly any access to vaccines? Is the virus loosening its grip and are deaths falling as a result? No-one reports on it now. It's as if western countries are all-right and so no-one cares about Africa and all the rest of the world.

  4. Talking about Covid-19 - I see the Met have issued 40 fixed penalty notices to members of No 10. The Holy-Willies of Holyrood are demanding they all resign immediately. Resign today and do it right now. Does anyone think Police Scotland would issue 40 fixed penalty notices to any of their masters at Holyrood? Are Police Scotland too afraid? Did wee Nicola get her hair done throughout the pandemic by a ghost?

  5. I see Boris's chances of staying on at No 10 have nose-dived following his fixed penalty fine for breaching Covid regulations. Are some of our so-called 'alphabet women' not currently under Police investigation for perjury at the High Court? I just wonder how long it will take to investigate that. Does anyone know the current standing of the Police investigation into the missing £600,000? Still we'll see a Holyrood pile-on to get rid of the UK Prime Minister.

  6. Public Health Messaging was shanghaied in Scotland and used for party-political gain, as everything else here is. Remember the BBC Covid Briefings with Nicola Sturgeon. I remember it started by her saying something like the English have five-times more Covid cases than we have. I wonder how that worked-out.

  7. This reminds me of when Russian dissident Alexei Navalny was awoken from his coma in a German hospital to be told that Putin had tried to poison him and failed. Navalny said 'what the fuck - why didn't he just shoot me?' That's what life is like in Scotland just now and before anyone says it, I am not anti Scottish, but I am anti arsehole.

  8. Dean Smith was sacked as Aston Villa on the back of 5 straight defeats earlier in the season. He was replaced by Steven Gerrard who immediately banned cakes and Coca-Cola from the Aston Villa training ground. That was supposed to be transformative. Now, Steven Gerrard is at the back of 4 straight defeats. What do Aston Villa do now?

That's like Holyrood isn't it...we've had a procession of Holyrood celebs on TV in recent nights; Alex Cole-Hamilton and Patrick Harvie for example. All telling us how terrible Westminster is and implying that Holyrood is now the one permanent fixture in the lives of all Scots. Other things come and go but Holyrood will always be there for us.

Has anyone asked what Scots think or are Scots getting like Russians who are thankful for Putin and accept everything he tells them.

Read this George. This explains it too. We're wallowing in mediocrity here.

    1. Dear Anon,

Thank you for the Daily Mail link, every major disaster of government can be traced back to a Labour government controlled by the right wing of the party. From social ills to devo in Scotland and the rest of the UK.

  10. Dear Anon,

"The vaccinated aren't immune", I am not saying the non vaccinated are immune to Covid, I am saying that these injections are so dangerous that they need investigated.
